Experience flying at 25,000 ft without oxygen...
Feel the symptoms of hypoxia for yourself...
Learn why you shouldn’t do it...
And what to do if you experience those symptoms inflight...
Now available to civilian pilots, AvMed Solutions is proud to present the first aviation-specific normobaric, hypoxia enclosure in Australia.
Safer than a military-style hypobaric chamber, AvMed Solutions’ enclosure simulates an aviation environment of up to 30,000 ft while maintaining ambient pressure, thus avoiding the risk of decompression sickness (the bends) and other pressure-related side-effects. The enclosure comfortably seats 6-8 trainees.
Limited Time Offer: $209* (normally $250) for Hypoxia Awareness Training – includes an interactive, multi-media educational session on the causes and effects of hypoxia, followed by a practical session in the enclosure – allowing you to recognize your own personal symptoms of hypoxia.
Call 0476 229 333 to make a booking. Sessions are held on Monday and Tuesday afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings.
Participants must hold at least a Class 2 aviation Medical Certificate and must be over the age of 16 years old. Sessions require a minimum of six participants and may be subject to rescheduling if bookings are less than the minimum number.
